New Zipping Process on Download

We’ve just released a small performance update, which changes the way zipping works when you Download. Now when selecting the All Files Zip option – we will zip up the files in the background and send you an email with a special link to download the zip file. This greatly enhances performance and means you no longer have to wait while BrandFM zips the files.

We’re making things better again.

Last night and last Friday we pushed some changes to improve a few small things and fix a bug or two.’

1. Access Request emails sent to Managers now show both the asset id and name of the asset(s) being requested. These emails come from: notifications@brandfm.com but we’ve added the users email address to the reply to address.

2. Pagination links on search and browse results pages now appear larger and in the centre of the page.

3. The eCourier™ collection page has been improved with a much larger more obvious Download button and instructions.

4. eCourier history (Previous eCouriers) is now arranged in reverse chronological order (latest at top), and now also show the tracking reference.

5. Enhanced Access Request History so that all processed assets are listed in the request details. For example if a request has some assets Accepted and some Declined, these are now shown accurately (see example below).

6. Managers can now Download and eCourier files for unreleased (i.e. pre release) assets.

7. Welcome page. Users are now directed to the Welcome page when they login rather than the Dashboard page. This was requested by several clients who wanted users to view their customized Welcome page on arrival. Many customers are now publishing changing and important data to their Welcome pages.

Enjoy.

I like the simpler e-courier pick up. Vastly superior! No one can miss that ‘download’ button now!

1. Having the contact email address included in the Access Request will make decisions that much simpler as I’m sure there are times that the User needs to be contacted for more information. This will save time for the Brand Owner.

2. A great idea to direct first and returning Users to the Welcome Page ensuring that all the latest information is given the maximum opportunity for absorption and enabling Users to be kept up to date :-)
